Impressions

A glimpse into memorable journeys we have created in the past.
august - september

Humbpack whales of Niue

We were one of the first European travel agencies to venture out to this distant island, which supposedly had one of the best humpback whale seasons on the planet. After 2023, we never looked back and now have 2 charters per year full of huge whale action.
October - November

Orca's of Norway

Big schools of herring, orcas on the hunt and humpback whales following their tracks along the snowy fjords of Norway. This is a BTM Travel classic just because of the consistent quality of the underwater action. Throw in some northern lights too if you're lucky.
September

Southern Right whales of Patagonia

Warm, sheltered bays around Península Valdés where southern right whales gather every season to calve and mate. Mothers hang suspended over the sand with their newborns while curious youngsters drift close enough to look you in the eye. Add the barren beauty of the Patagonian coast, penguin colonies and elephant seals hauled out in the sun.
AUGUST

Svalbard - Around the Arctic Circle

Another one of our more recent ventures. Remote pack ice and glacier fronts high above the Arctic Circle, where walrus haul out in tusked, snoring piles. Blue whales surface in the cold open water while Arctic foxes trot the tundra in their summer coats. Endless daylight, dramatic ice and some of the wildest scenery the far north has to offer.
YEAR ROUND

Sharks of French Polynesia

One of our absolute classics for years now. Twelve nights on a catamaran through the Tuamotu atolls: Fakarava's north and south passes, then quiet time at Kauehi and Toau. Napoleon wrasses come right up to you at Anse Amyot, walls of grey reef sharks stack on the incoming tide, and the visibility runs to fifty metres on a good day. Warm water, stellar coral, and the comfort of a cruising catamaran.

YEAR ROUND

Uganda Gorilla Trekking

We are love all big animals, not just under water. The misty forested slopes of Bwindi are home to wild mountain gorillas. Eye to eye with these giants is truly magical. We combine these encounters with the open savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park for lions, elephants and hippos along the water. The magic of Africa.
YEAR ROUND

Socorro Combo's

The famous Volcanic islands far off the Mexican Pacific where giant oceanic mantas glide up to divers and schooling hammerheads patrol the blue. We usually run it alongside Magdalena Bay for striped marlin tearing into bait balls and Cabo for up close encounters with mako and blue sharks. Big animals, big adventure and warm water.
